I’m a design engineer. I work in the seam between design and code — building interfaces, interaction, and the systems that keep them consistent as a product grows.
For the last six years I’ve partnered with early-stage teams as their first design hire, shipping the marketing site, the product UI, and the component library that everything after gets built on.

A type scale, a spacing ramp, and a component library wired into code the same week it’s designed — small enough for the team to maintain after I roll off.

Every animation mapped to a state change. Perceived-performance work, optimistic UI, gesture and keyboard models — prototyped in code, because that’s where they’re judged.
