I’m Mira Okafor, a design engineer based in Lisbon, PT. I spend my time where design decisions become real: components, interaction, motion, and the systems that keep a growing product coherent.

My background is half design, half frontend, and I’ve never found the line between them useful. The best interfaces I’ve worked on came from designing in the material — prototyping in code, feeling the latency, tuning the spring until it’s right.

Most of my work is as an embedded first design hire: ninety days to ship something real, build the smallest system that holds, and take one core flow all the way to measured.
